Customer & Partner Verification (KYC) Policy
Standalone verification guidelines, business identification requirements, and fraud prevention controls for Arzenlabs commercial partners and enterprise accounts.
1. Purpose & Risk-Based Verification Scope
Arzenlabs ("Arzenlabs") implements a risk-based Customer and Partner Verification (Know Your Customer / "KYC") Policy to prevent fraud, protect infrastructure integrity, satisfy enterprise contractual commitments, and maintain security baselines.
Scope Clarification: Customer verification is NOT mandatory for casual website visitors or readers of public documentation. KYC verification is conducted selectively for enterprise clients executing customized engineering contracts, high-risk API provisioning, or formal commercial partnerships.
2. Categories of Verification Information Requested
Depending on the nature of the commercial engagement, Arzenlabs may request:
- Organization Details: Corporate legal name, business registration certificate (e.g., Udyam, CIN, Certificate of Incorporation), registered office address, and tax identification (PAN/GSTIN where applicable).
- Authorized Representative Details: Official name, job title, corporate email address, and official authorization letter or board resolution.
- Financial & Billing Verification: Bank account verification details, payment method validation, or corporate credit references.
3. Objectives & Permitted Use of Verification Data
Information collected under this Policy is used strictly for:
- Authenticating enterprise identities prior to executing customized statements of work.
- Preventing fraudulent transactions, identity theft, or unauthorized access to enterprise infrastructure.
- Satisfying statutory obligations under applicable Indian laws and international trade compliance mandates.
4. Privacy & Security of Verification Data
All verification documents are classified as Restricted Data under the Arzenlabs Information Security Policy. Verification data is stored in AES-256 encrypted databases with access restricted solely to authorized compliance officers.
Verification records are retained for five (5) years following the termination of the commercial relationship, after which they are securely purged.
